Online Cultivating - Player count versus clear speed

I'm contemplating whether anybody's crunched the numbers on this and regardless of whether there's a decent approach to deciding the ideal player count for a given singe.


Clearly having the option to rapidly clear places like Chaos in 8 players is ideal when you have the stuff for it… however how would it be advisable for you to respond on the off chance that you don't? So suppose you have normal stuff and have two choices:


- Clear an objective region (say Chaos for contention) at a moderate speed on players 8 trouble


Or on the other hand


- Clear similar region at a high speed on players 1 trouble.


When are you in an ideal situation with every choice? Suppose you can clear 2x as quick in 1player (when you factor in tracking down games, staying away from contest, and so on it's probably significantly quicker)… what number of runs could you have to do to generally approach a solitary 8player run?
